FINALLY after months, even years of desiring to be a part of the Wrangler Nation, the Lord has opened the door for me to drive the coolest car on the road! Here are a few pictures of my DREAMCAR that has become a reality! I knew I had arrived this morning when I was driving down the road and I saw a guy driving towards us in another wrangler, we had never seen him before, yet he still waved simply because of our car. I told Jenny then that we had finally arrived as the newest members of wrangler nation! It's a VERY nice jeep! We went cruising pretty much all day today and we had a BLAST!!!!!!! Hope you enjoy the pictures! Hope you all have a good evening!!!!!!!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEAH That's right the horses are finally going to the Super Bowl!!!!!!!! That's reason enough to rejoin the blog ministry!!!!!! I apologize for my absence in recent months, I've been a bum and really just haven't taken the time to do it! But life is getting more interesting so I figure I should write some more!

The top left picture is of Nolan Smith, we went to the Oak Hill Academy game the other night at JMU, They were AWESOME! Nolan will be playing for Duke next year and by all accounts should be in the pro's shortly after so that was kinda cool to see him play.
Last but not least the MINIVAN MINISTRY! VERY cool! I'm pretty pumped about it, but not near as pumped as Jenny! The only problem is that door doesn't close, get's a little drafty at time, but I figure in summer it will offer a little extra AC.
That's about it for now, hopefully I will write again before 4 months pass!!!
Oh yeah, and the door really does shut! I PROMISE!

MOVING DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Well today is the day! We've counted down for several weeks, and it's finally here! Mom and dad left this morning from Indiana to head down and help us move. They have a 16 ft. enclosed trailor so that's really a blessing at times like this! The above picture is of our dining room now, if you look right in the middle you can see one of our pets offering her approval to the moving plans, she just wants to make sure we don't forget her. Last night at church went well, although we didn't have Kirk Cameron speaking:). We had our highest night for teen church, there were 62 teenagers in there and we had 10 saved. It was very emotional as our teenagers realized that was the last service they would have us as their youth directors. On our first anniversary they made us a sign that said #1 Youth Pastor, so for last night they snuck that banner into a spare room and all the teens went in and signed it, and then they brought it in at the beginning of teen church. There was a family with two teenage girls that left the church not too long ago, but last night the whole family came back to church for one night just to tell us bye. There were a couple of other girls who were pulled out of church that were allowed to come back last night for our last service. All in all it was a great sendoff. Please continue to pray for us today as we pack and hopefully are able to get on the road. Everyone have a great day and we'll talk to you later.

Extreme Makeover: Dog Edition

Hey to all, I haven't posted in a while so I figured I would let everyone know how things are going. I preached in church last night for the final time. It went really well, Bro. Hooper told me it was the best message he had heard in a long time, so Praise The Lord for that. Misty got groomed earlier this week, above are the before and after pictures. She looks really cute, and you can tell that she is proud of herself. This time next week we will be on the road, so we are very excited. We are getting a lot of things packed, right now our dining room looks like a storage shed!! Oh well, that's about all the news going on in our little world hope everything is going well with everyone else. Talk to everyone later!!!

Happy Labor Day

Good evening to all. I hope everyone had a nice Labor Day. We got a few things packed away in boxes today, as you can see from our pictures. We've really had a nice and relaxing day. I got to grill some bbq pork chops today, they were REALLY good. The weather here recently has been really nice, however, we looked on the weather channel sight and the temperature in Broadway is 65 right now and the high for tomorrow is 60!!!! Sounds to me like a good place to live:-)! Our pets have been really funny while we've been working and getting things ready to move, you can tell that Misty is getting a little bit nervous, and Chloe doesn't really care as long as she feels like she's in control. Well everybody's getting a little tired right now... as you can tell from the top picture, so everyone have a good evening!

Vacation Tomorrow!!!!!!

This morning was when we told the teenagers that we were leaving. That was a brutal time, a lot of tears, but everyone took it decently. They understoood a lot better that what we thought they would. So pretty much everyone knows now, which is a huge relief!!! Everything went well with the yard sale, we finished up yesterday and we made about $450. We started out having a "moving sale" and ended up only having three trash bags left. Well that's about it in our little lives right now, hope everyone has a great Labor Day tomorrow.

Live from Jason and Jenny's Junk Junction

The yard sale went very well for today. We began selling stuff to people about 6:30 a.m. People in Arkansas are yard sale animals. Today we made a total of about $230 which isn't bad for one day. The only problem is that most of our big stuff sold, so tomorrow will be a day of quarters and nickels! Things are going well, hope everyone is doing great.
